Excellence Under Pressure
We're committed to providing the best products to our customers, so they can spend more time at the range, instead of the reloading bench. Brass cases go through multiple inspection points during the remanufacturing process. Below you'll find some examples of the most common defects we screen for.
Split and Cracked Cases
Here you have multiple examples of splits/cracks on brass. These defects are not always isolated to the neck, stress concentrations will sometimes develop in the body of the case.
Damaged Cases
If any of the brass exhibits mechanical defects, it is removed and thrown away. Residual marks left on brass from reloading equipment, rollsize equipment, even weapons used to fire ammo are shown below. Sings of case separation are very important to screen for, see the 2nd and 3rd photos from left to right for examples.
Primer Pocket Defects
Our equipment screens for any ringers, berdan primers and blocked primer pockets.
